Why wouldn't you take your 73 Corvette to the hardware store on a rainy December day in Chicago as temperatures are dropping below freezing?

Heck yes I would; I almost got close to DDing a '79 four speed, but backed out at the last minute -_- There's a guy down the street from me by the horse track with a brown '78-'81 covered in snow. I want to buy it from him. Badly.

That's cool and all but I still feel bad for the car.
Like the guy who parks his 442 and chevelle out covered in snow all winter. Maybe I'm just " that guy " who complains about that stuff, but that bugs me out.

He should be OK. I'm sure those tires are all-seasons.

Well I had my 73 Gran Torino out yesterday and the day before so I wouldn't see why not

I've been seriously deliberating as to whether or not my 240z would make it up to a ski slope (and whether I could start in the cold at the end of the day). This Vette seems like a perfectly rational decision to me.

This is awesome.

Because his DD broke down or something? BTDT....

Because he likes to see his tow truck driver/lose control into a tree/have his door handle frozen off?

The only thing that stops me from taking out the weekend wheels is the salt. Rain isn't preferable but it isn't a deal breaker.
